No. Trove is designed as an offline vault. The Android app does not need an account or cloud service to store your vault. Anything you export or share is an action you explicitly choose.
There is no password reset or recovery key that can decrypt your vault. This is an intentional security property. Keep your master password in a secure offline location and maintain an encrypted backup.
Trove can export a password-protected .trove file. Store it somewhere you control, such as an encrypted drive. A backup is only useful if you can remember both its location and the password used to protect it.
Yes. Export an encrypted backup from one device and import it on another compatible Trove installation. Trove does not silently sync changes between devices.
Trove supports logins, bank records, payment cards, identity records, notes, custom fields, documents, and local 2FA authenticator entries.
No. Biometric verification is handled by your operating system. Trove receives only the success or failure result required to unlock the vault.
Use the Support form and include your platform, app version, steps to reproduce, and any error text. Never include your master password or vault contents.
